Ankylosing Spondylitis with radiographic bilateral sacroiliitis
Presentation
Diagnosed Ankylosing Spondylitis with confirmed bilateral sacroiliitis on imaging. Mobility had declined to the point of walking with a cane.
Already tried
The standard escalation path: TNF-alpha inhibitors and IL-17 blockers, framed as indefinite management rather than resolution.
What the framework surfaced
Intestinal-immune axis and detox pathways
- Mold exposure in the living environment
- Gut dysbiosis contributing to inflammatory signalling
- Impaired mitochondrial function and redox balance
Outcome
Clinical remission, documented with post-treatment MRI and symptomatic follow-up.
One year post-treatment
